DIYORNOT.COM was honored with the Silver Award for Best Web Site by a panel of expert judges from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University.
DIYORNOT celebrates its 16th year as an online publication. Based on a newspaper column of the same name, the print edition hails back to its first publication in 1987. The long-running feature continues to appear in newspapers across the country as well as online.
Based on weekly analytics of the site a new feature "Job Cost Popular Searches" was introduced to the pages of DIYORNOT to report what job cost data that site visitors are accessing.

A new and improved mobile version of www.diyornot.com was launched at www.m.diyornot.com to reach the ever growing number of cell phone users accessing the Internet.
In early February Katie and Gene Hamilton of DIYORNOT were featured speakers at an AARP regional seminar discussing ideas to age proof a home. Age proofing a home is one of the most viewed topics on the web site as homeowners are seeing the benefits of making a home more comfortable and convenient for everyone who lives there.
