How to Install a Rolling Ladder

These are an overview of installing a rolling ladder on a track. Follow the specific instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the rolling ladder.

Step 1 : Install the track and brackets
Depending on the type of track and brackets used with the ladder, follow the instructions to drill holes for the screws for the steel brackets that fit into the track.
Step 2 : Attach the top fixtures to the ladder
Center the fixture around the rung at the top of the ladder to attach the top fixtures. Follow the measuring directions for their placement.
Step 3 : Install the bottom fixtures to the ladder
Follow the instructions to measure and secure the bottom fixtures to the ladder.
Step 4 : Mount the ladder on the top track
Lift the ladder to the track and hook the top bracket onto the track. Adjust the bottom so it can roll or remain stationery.
