The cable that leads from each fixture has two pronged connectors that pierce the insulation of the cable leading from the power pack. This makes electrical contact with the wires inside. Position the pronged connectors around the power pack cable and press the connectors together at the intervals where you want to position the lights.
Use a garden shovel or spade to make a small slit or shallow hole in the ground to install the cable. Use a paint stick or a rounded piece of scrap wood and gently press the low-voltage cable into the slit in the turf. When the stake is in place, backfill the surrounding area with dirt or small stones.
Press the ground stake on each light fixture into the slit, and tuck in the wire.
Plug in the power pack and set the timer using the directions.
